Tristan is a first year PhD student in Sustainable Development. His research interests include adaptation strategies to climate change (both climate migrations and agricultural adaptation), questions of environmental shocks and inequalities, and the impact of pesticide use on health and ecosystems.
Prior to joining Columbia University, Tristan earned a masters in economics (Paris School of Economics) and international relations (Sciences Po Paris), as well as bachelors in philosophy (University of Paris 10 - Nanterre), law (University of Paris 1 - Pantheon Sorbonne) and political sciences (Sciences Po Paris). He also studied three years for a bachelor in mathematics (Sorbonne University).
