DESCRIPTION: The project reviewed the engineering and regulatory requirements necessary to promote combined heat and power co-generation in New York City.

OUTCOMES: The project generated a report, published in the New York Law Journal and on the Center for Climate Change’s website, that quantified the potential for CHP development in New York City, identified hurdles to development, and provided policy solutions and recommendations on how to promote CHP generation.
