Pacific Ocean ; Lamon Bay
Project Type: Research

DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the grant is to quantify the spatial and temporal characteristics of the ocean processes governing stratification and circulation within Lamon Bay using observations obtained during the R/V Revelle, time series from moorings, and satellite derived data.

OUTCOMES: Kuroshio forms in Lamon Bay as a response to ENSO. Mapped currents and salinity changes.
