DESCRIPTION: To contribute to knowledge about, and generate a dialogue on, inclusive urbanization. PBBC builds on the educational program Global Studio, and the MDG target of improving the lives of slum dwellers. The exhibition documents community driven development through the work of Global Studio and urban practitioners. The project seeks to contribute to the post 2015 debate, and highlights the importance of civic engagement in creating resilient, equitable, smart, and sustainable cities.

OUTCOMES: Outcomes include the showing of PBBC in 12 cities in 2013, and public programs in each.

Research and project development: October 1, 2012- February 15, 2013

Exhibition tour: commenced February 22, 2013 in Bangkok and ends Jan 4, 2014.

Public programs: lectures, panel discussions, and site visits at exhibition venues. See

Additional activity: currently three showings planned in 2104.
