Earth Institute Postdoctoral Diversity Fellowship

The Earth Institute is pleased to offer Diversity Fellowships for the Earth Institute’s Postdoctoral Research program. The Diversity Fellowships seek to promote the recruitment of outstanding postdoctoral scholars from underrepresented groups, to more closely reflect the composition of the national pool of qualified candidates. The program is specifically to encourage applications from promising scholars from historically underrepresented groups, namely: Blacks/African-Americans; Hispanics; Latinx; Native Americans/Alaska Natives; Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islanders.

The principal selection criteria are: educational and professional merit; relevance and strength of research proposal; quality of recommendations; relevance of proposed research to the Earth Institute’s mission; and current needs and priorities of the Earth Institute.

Candidates must indicate their interest in the Diversity Fellowships on their application to the Earth Institute Postdoctoral Research program.
