The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies organized a press briefing on the GROCC Statement for Japanese media. Held at the Ministry of the Environment Press Club in Tokyo, the event was well attended including the major national newspapers Nikkei, Asahi, Mainichi, Yomiuri and Nikkan Kogyo, and several national press agencies including Jiji Press and Kyodo Press.
