About the Conference:
To help achieve the objectives of the Roundtable, our fifth meeting has three principal goals:
· Examine recent critical developments in climate policy, including the UNFCCC negotiations, the IPCC report, and actions taking place at various levels of government in the US.
·Consider reports by leading experts regarding potential tools and activities for adaptation to climate change, with a focus on potential roles for the private sector, and discuss potential opportunities for action by the Roundtable.
·Examine potential structures and elements of a post-2012 climate regime and possible avenues for GROCC contributions to the international process that will be decided upon in 2009Venue
The Roundtable meeting will be held in Lerner Auditorium on the Morningside Campus of Columbia University, located at 2920 Broadway between 114th and 116th Streets in Manhattan. Click here for an interactive map of the Columbia campus.
