Nicole Volavka is Assistant Director of the Center for Sustainable Urban Development.   She joined CGSD in January 2004.  She received a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) in 2003, with a concentration in Environmental Policy Studies.  In 2002, Volavka worked at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in Nairobi in the Division of Policy Development and Law.
