The Earth Institute Annual Donor Report 2010
Welcome to the online version of the Earth Institute's donor report for 2010
We remain committed to finding extraordinary solutions to unprecedented world challenges, and this report highlights some of our innovative projects in research, policy and education.
The past year has been dynamic and rewarding for the Earth Institute in many ways. We helped launch a new graduate program in sustainability management and a new undergraduate major in sustainable development, participated in the inauguration of a new global center in India to build on our work in South Asia, studied how climate in Africa and elsewhere affects the spread of diseases like meningitis and malaria, addressed extreme poverty and natural hazards in Haiti, and so much more.
Our profound gratitude goes out to all of the donors, students, faculty, staff and others who continue to help make our planet a more sustainable place.
