Cross Cutting Initiative Seminar Series - Spring 2007
An initial core activity of the cross-cutting initiatives program is a seminar series—Is Sustainable Development Feasible?. The goals of the seminar series include bringing together a group of faculty, research scientists, and students who are interested in working across disciplines to address the major challenges of sustainable development and to communicate the issues of sustainable development to a larger community, primarily from Columbia University. An output of the seminar series will be a book for a general audience interested in learning more about the most pressing challenges of the 21st Century.
